  2. 6 DIY Natural Cleaning Solutions for Homes It is important to have a clean house, but you don’t need to pay a hefty price for all those chemical products that are harmful for you, your family and the environment. You can whip up some really great natural cleaners with things present in your pantry and a few other natural ingredients. If you just bought one of the Downtown San Diego lofts for sale and want to give it a thorough clean, listed below are 6 easy recipes to make your own cleaners.

  3. 1. Homemade Glass Cleaner • 2 cups distilled or filtered water • 2 tablespoons white vinegar • 10 drops essential oil of choice (optional) Combine all the ingredients in a clean spray bottle and store it. When needed spray some on a paper towel or a soft piece of cloth and clean the windows.

  4. 2. Natural Drain Cleaner • ½ cup baking soda • ½ cup white vinegar • 10 cups boiling water No need to go for harsh drain cleaners available in the market. Just pour half a cup of baking soda down the drain, followed by vinegar. The chemical reaction will break down any grime and clogs. After 15 minutes of rest, pour hot boiling water on the solution to wash away all the blockages.

  5. 3. Bathroom and Kitchen Disinfectant • 2 teaspoons borax (a naturally occurring powder) • 3 cups hot water • 4 tablespoons white vinegar • 10 drops tea tree oil Add all the components in a spray bottle and shake well to mix. You may add a bit of more dishwash if needed and remember to use it after letting it rest for 15 minutes at the least.

  6. 4. Heavy-Duty Scrub • Half a lemon • 1/2 cup borax (a laundry booster; find it in the detergent aisle) Dip the lemon into the borax and scrub surface; rinse. It is not safe for marble or granite, but excellent for rust stains on porcelain or enamel sinks and tubs.

  7. 5. Brass Cleaner • White vinegar or lemon juice • Table salt • Sponge With these three things you can get great results with non-lacquered cabinet pulls, bathroom appointments, and more. Just pour some vinegar or lemon juice on the sponge a sponge and sprinkle salt on it. Lightly rub over the surface. Rinse thoroughly with water, then immediately wipe with a clean soft cloth.

  8. 6. Bathroom and Kitchen Disinfectant • 2 teaspoons borax (a naturally occurring powder) • 3 cups hot water • 4 tablespoons white vinegar • 10 drops tea tree oil Mix all ingredients in a spray bottle and shake to mix. Let rest before using. If even more cleaning power is needed, feel free to add an additional 2 tablespoons of natural liquid dish soap.

  9. These cleaning solutions may be helpful in home, no matter it is a condo or Downtown San Diego lofts for sale. It is better to go green and save a few bucks along the way and invest them in other necesseties.
