  1. Describing locations of people and objects: A + (的de) + location word+ 是shì + B 我 的 旁边 是 我大哥。  Wǒde pángbiānshì wǒ dà gē. lit. My side is my big brother. (My big brother is next to me)

  2. Describing locations of people and objects: A + (的 de) + location word +有 yǒu + B 茶馆儿 的 旁边有 一家商店 Chá guǎnr de pángbiānyǒu yī jiā shāngdiàn. lit. Tea house’s side have a shop. (There is a shop next to the tea house)

  3. Describing locations of people and objects: A + 在zài + B+(的 de) + location word 我妈妈家 在 商店 的 旁边。 Wǒ māma jiā zài shāngdiàn de pángbiān. lit. My mum home at shop’s side. (My mum’s house is next to the shop)
