  5. MESSAGE FROM AFRICAN-AMERICAN ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT “I am grateful that this scholarship has been established since it will inspire students like me to be active when we become alumni. Knowing that there are other alumni out there who are very interested in helping current students encourages me to perform well in medical school and become a great doctor so that I may also be a role model to future students one day.” Julian Hardman, M2 -AAASF Scholarship Recipient
