Design Process • Define a Problem • Brainstorm • Research and Generate Ideas • Identify Criteria and Specify Constraints • Explore Possibilities • Select an Approach • Develop a Design Proposal • Make a model or Prototype • Test and Evaluate the Design using Specifications • Refine the Design • Create or Make Solution • Communicate Processes and Results
Define a Problem • It seems no matter where you are trying to work you have to constantly move items around the desktop or to another surface to make room for your work. • Create an attachment method that you can attach any type of holder. It could be a cell phone, and I-POD, even a cup of water. • You can not use any hook and loops, adhesives or magnets. Your base must be able to hold paper, paper clips and pens/pencils.
Research and Generate Ideas • Different types of Organizers • Colors, sizes, shapes, etc. • Look for different types of attachments and methods for attaching them.
