  2. Flag Orange stands for saffron, for courage and sacrifice, White stands for truth and purity, green stands for Peace and prosperity an the blue wheel stands for law of orders of the universe.

  3. Language India there are several languages but many states have there own languages, thetwo official languages which are English and Hindi. We say thank you like this: Shukriyah and Dhanyawad. We say bye like this: phir milenge (we'll meet again) or Alwida (more formal and not used very often)We say hello like this: Namaste. Most people say Namaste in other Indian languages to.

  4. National Anthem The national anthem called written by a famous poet named Rabindranath. The national Anthem is called "Jana Gana Mana". It was written by a famous Poet called named Rabindranath Tagore.

  5. Celebration There are many holidays in India but the most celebrated is Diwali which a Hindu festival of lights.Diwali takes place in the month of October and November. The Diwali festival may last for 3 days or more. Diwali is celebrated in many ways. Many Indians pray to Lakshmi (goddess of good fortune and wealth). People buy gold on Diwali. Outside entrances floor of the houses are decorated with colored powder designs called Rangoli.
