4. Where and when? Patients lay in the same clothing and blankets they had brought in with them. There was a lack of linen to make bandages, and a lack of other essential supplies. . . 2000 patients were expected to make do with 20 bedpans.....

5. Where & when? There were shortages of supplies including hand wipes, linen and bandages. We occasionally saw bedding and equipment left lying on the floor, and a lack of waste disposal bags, bedding and pillows.
