CSR / Sustainability Hero Personal Background • Born in Bogotá, Colombia (1961) • Anthropologist and Sociologist from the Vermont University U.S. • Master in Public Administration from Harvard University • 1985 - 1992: Held various positions in the public sector in the town Cajicá, Colombia • 1992: CEO of the Family Business “Alquería”- pasteurizing plant located in Cajiá, Colombia • Since his return to Colombia he had interest and commitment on working for the development of the town in matters of education, health, culture and transport • 2000: received the “Ave Fénix” Prize due to his well governance of the company

Sustainable business vision • 95% of the methane gas emissions in his business are produced in the farms due to the digestive system of the cows -> farmers could stop paying for energy service if they use the methane to produce it
