  2. What is the CEDRD? • The CEDRD Certification is maintained by the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (IAEDP). • Certified Eating Disorders Registered Dietitian • A certification for RD’s that wish to work with patients with eating disorders

  3. Interests I wish to work with patients with eating disorders. Veritas Collaborative Young men and women stay at this rehabilitation center while nutritionists work with them in making their own meals and in the whole recovery process.

  4. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in nutrition with additional dietetic internship • Successful completion of Dietetic Registration exam (RD status) • Complete IAEDP core courses, as well as being a member of IAEDP • 1500 word case study (must be a patient actually treated by applicant) • Pass IAEDP Certification exam • 2000 direct patient hours • Completed application (with (1) passport photo, Application Fee ($150.00), and three professional letters of recommendation, including one from an experienced clinician within your own discipline)

  5. Career Opportunities • Work at eating disorder clinics • Hospitals • Veritas Collaborative (North Carolina) • Remuda Ranch (Arizona)

  6. Exam and Fees • First you must pass the IAEDP exam • Online • $75 fee • 3 hour completion • Once you pass the IAEDP exam, take the CEDRD • Completed application • $150 fee • Oral and written exam • Renewal every 2 years
