  2. LED Panel I was always personified by the glittering of the LED on flat panel TV. It was those times when LEDs were not the centerpiece of attraction but they served the significant factor of providing key functions to the remote control. I recall that my grandpa’s Sony Trinitron had a glittering red LED which was very pretty looking and I thought what this small bulb is? Is it a bulb or anything else? Today I understand that LEDs have been an old contributor to the electric and electronic industry as a whole. Now everyone is aware what an LED stands for… preferably people will recall a bulb or a tube but that’s not all…LED just doesn’t confine to being merely a light source., it’s a full transition of technology. From being just lights to different products like wall packs,downlights and even more. LED panel is another significant entry because it marks great reduction in electricity consumption. It can be installed just about anywhere. Bet it an office, apartment, bank, educational institution or a factory, an LED panel has many uses. I believe an LED is a total investment for money. This is because it has many tiny LEDs and if even one small LED goes bad, the others will work…Simple! On the other hand, if HPS or HID is used, once is goes down, you have to replace the entire bulb. I know that people did prefer incandescent lights and it was quite obvious because LEDs were not initially used as a domestic product just because they were too expensive to be bought but now with every new manufacturer coming in, these lights have also become pocket friendly. 2 www.ledmyplace.com

  3. Now lets compare an LED with its counterparts. Precisely I found out quite a bit of difference between LED and incandescent light: LEDs use less power up to 85% less than an incandescent and 20% than CFL. They have longer working hours 25000 in general and some go up to 50,000 while traditional tubes are replaced generally after 10000 hours. LEDs give a bright white light in comparison to HPS and HLD that are more of yellow. Environmentally also LEDs don’t generate considerable heat although both incandescent and CFLs contribute in heat generation to the atmosphere. Having these major differences, there’s no point I would not buy an LED panel for my office.
