That’s right! Mishloach Manos is one of the 4 special Mitzvos of Purim! We give Mishloach Manos during the day of Purim, not at night. We give 2 types of food to at least one person. The foods may be the same bracha, but not the same types of food.
Correct! Since Purim is on Thursday, March 8 this year, we hear the Megillah on Wednesday night and on Thursday morning. No talking from the first brachas until the after the last brachah! Make sure to hear EVERY word!

You Got It! We eat a festive meal because the whole story of Purim revolved around parties. Remember to say “Al Hanissim” in bentching! (and davening!)

Wonderful! Giving Tzedakah brings people closer together. Purim is about unity among the Jewish People. Try to give the Tzedakah early in the day, so that the poor people will have time to buy food for their meal. In many communities, there is someone who takes care of collecting this money and distributing it to the poor on Purim. On Purim, we give Tzedaka to anyone who asks.
