  1. Six CCC districts met the selection criteria as comparable college districts to MSJC. Spring 2008 headcount & FTES were used for the analysis. The districts were selected using the following criteria: 1. Single college district – one main campus & may have one or more centers/off sites2. Within +10% of MSJC unduplicated headcount (13,000 to 16,000)3. Credit/Student FTES Comparable colleges to MSJC were defined as similarly size single-college districts (one main campus & may have 1 or more centers/off sites) with headcount within +10% of MSJC headcount & credit FTES & a FTES/headcount ratio similar to MSJC. Six districts meet the selection criteria for spring 2008 with headcount ranging between 13,000 to 16,000 and FTES between 3,900 & 5,100.   3. MSJC’s fall ‘08 percentage of full time faculty FTEF* is 40%. The FTEF share of full time faculty for comparable single college districts ranges from 47% to 60% with a group average of 52%. The FTEF share of full time faculty for comparable districts as a group has declined slightly over the same time period.
