  2. The Form 0f A Snake A snake is a reptile with a long body that looks like a lizard. No arms and legs are on the snake. Snakes sometimes have a hazardous bite, sometimes on humans and prey.

  3. Cobras Cobras are venomous snakes that bite on humans or prey. They live in southern parts of Asia and also Africa. If a cobra feels threatened, it extends its ribs in its neck.

  4. Its prey A cobra hunts in day and night. Their prey is mammals, birds, lizards, frogs, and even fish too. Some kinds of cobras can spit venom at its prey.

  5. Life cycle Some snakes live by themselves for most of the year. When snakes are born, they look like adults. Snakes cared by humans can live more than 30 years.(Not as much in the wild.)

  6. Physical Features The longest snake is a reticulated python which sometimes it grows to 32 feet.(10 meters.) Some of the smallest snakes are blind, which some times they are about 4 inches (10 cm.)
