Labor Exchange Module • Job Seekers • Build up to five resumes online • Virtual Recruiter (automatically searches for jobs linked to your resume [occupation]) • Utilize email/message center for communication with employers • Employers • Define skills and post job orders to find potential candidates • Virtual Recruiter (Search agent automatically finds candidates that match resume occupations with posted jobs) • Communicate with job seekers within the system email and message center.

  3. Expansion of Jobs4TN.gov • Virtual One-Stop & Re-employment Exchange (VOS/REX) • Contract with Geographic Solutions has been signed • Implementation within 6-10 months • Will replace eCMATS and a number of additional stand-alone systems and contracts • Will impact Wagner-Peyser, WIA, Trade Act, Adult Education, and Unemployment Insurance • User training will be provided

  4. Unemployment Insurance • Initial claims filings following last year’s trend • Call volume is declining • Self-service use is up • Claims backlog is at approximately 15,000 (4-6 week wait) • Appeals backlog is approximately 3,600 • Benefit Charge backlog is around 15,000 • June 18th, walk-in and mass claims sessions at the Career Centers will end
