Boardmaker Software Family • The premier software for creating printed symbol-based communication and education materials. • Used by speech and language pathologists, regular and special educators, and ESOL teachers to help their students (early childhood, elementary, secondary, autism, adults, ESOL) learn and communicate.

  3. 3 Software Products • Boardmaker (BM) - for printed materials. • Boardmaker Plus! (BM+) - brings BM activities to life on the computer making it an interactive learning and speaking tool featuring voice, sound, and video capabilities. • Boardmaker w/ Speaking Dynamically Pro (BM w/ SDP) - adds word prediction, abbreviation expansion, and additional voice options.

  4. Highlights of BM • Drawing program combined with agraphics database featuring more then 4,500 Picture Communication Symbols (PCS) in 44 languages in both color and black and white. • Print only - 325 templates, e.g., calendars, schedules, charts.

Highlights of BM+ • Complete BM package plus 250 sample boards for creating interactive learning tools (books, worksheets, games). • Categories include communication and participation, language, literacy, schedules and sequences, behavioral supports, functional skills, social studies, science, math, art.
