Treatment • Using the (Ga-Al-As) laser, each patient received three to five minutes of treatment with one minute on each site. • After each treatment the temperature was measured to see any changes. • This continued five days post injury.
Results • Treatment showed to decrease the temperature directly surrounding the area and in the periphery. • It fell by an average of 3 degrees • Researchers concluded that LASER therapy improves circulation and helps reduce swelling and edema.
