  4. When do the buses go? • From 6 a.m. to midnight • In addition: Nattugla ”The Night Owl” Friday and Saturday nights. • Departures from town centre: 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 a.m.

  5. Bus Cards and Bus Fares • One Way Ticket – NOK 30,- (NOK 40,-). Valid for 1 hour (includes change of buses within that hour) • Note that the night buses (nr. 61-66) have the same fare • The Period Ticket Periodebillett • The Value Card Verdikonto – NOK 22,50 one way ticket. • Student discounts = age 20-29

  6. The Period Ticket • Bus card, cost 50,- first time you buy it at the Tromskortet shop. This card is not personal and can be borrowed by others in the same age category. • Discount for young adults under 30 years of age • Valid for 30, 90 or 180 days within the City Zone • Costs: • 30 Days: Young adults: 400 – Age above 30: 660 • 90 Days: Young adults: 1010 – Age above 30: 1680 • 180 Days: Young adults: 1900 – Age above 30: 3160 • The card can then be updated on the at certain shops and at the Tromskortet office in town. • New: Mini periodes of 1 (70), 2 (120), 4 (180) or 7 (250) days.

  7. The Value Account • The most suitable card if you have an irregular travel pattern • 25% discount compared to single fare tickets • Example: 1 ticket NOK 22,50 (not 30)

Things to note • Bus cards cost NOK 50,- • The personal ticket cards should be bought the first time at the Troms County Traffic Centre (Tromskortet) • Keep the receipt at home in case you loose the card • Cards can be recharged e.g. at the Mix kiosk at UiT or the WiTo kiosk in the town centre: http://www.tromskortet.no/Priser/Tromskortet/Kundesenterogutsalgssteder/tabid/78/language/nb-NO/Default.aspx • Your bus habits decide which card is the cheapest solution

Bus Schedules • The Bus Schedules can be obtained for free on the buses • In bus schedules: DX67 means Daily except the 6 and 7 day of the week (Saturday and Sunday). 6 means Saturdays only and 7 means Sundays only. • Schedules change during holidays/vacations • Internet: http://www.tromskortet.no/Ruter/Rutetabeller/RutetabellerbussTroms%C3%B8byruter/tabid/703/language/nb-NO/Default.aspx
