Building the Program (1992-1995) • SB 1322 • Model: Enterprise Zone Program • Four designation cycles • Hold program at 40 zones
Expanding the Program (1996-2002) • Eight zone expansions approved • Enhanced program services • JTR • RecycleStore • Economic gardening • Enhanced ZA training
Zone Renewals (2003-2006) • Local governments decide if they would continue partnership with State • 31 zones approved • 6 do not renew and 2 merge
