  1. Stangathon 2011 Be part of Mattson history by participating in the 1st annual Stangathon ASB fundraiser!!!

  2. What? • The Stangathon will take place the last hour + of the day on October 5th. • All students who turn in a pledge sheet with $20.00 will be eligible to participate and earn great prizes. For $35.00 you will also get a t-shirt. • For that hour, you will walk, run, skip and/or jump around the track with your friends while a DJ plays music. In addition you will earn prizes. • The library will also be open for those who want to participate, but prefer to read.

  3. Why? • Cookie dough fundraiser = Mattson gets 40% of the profits. Stangathon fundraiser = Mattson gets 100% of the profits. Do the math ! • Stangathon will be fun and healthy! • Our yearly ASB fundraiser pays for all school activities like dances, dodgeball tournaments etc. and for all sports equipment like football helmets, new uniforms etc.

  4. Who? • All athletes (football, volleyball, gymnastics, wrestling, basketball, cheer, and track) are expected to participate. • All club members (Builders, STOMP/Hip Hop) are expected to participate. • All ASB officers, senators, and representatives are expected to participate. • All students who want to help make Mattson the best middle school in Kent are encouraged to participate. • All students who want to get out of an hour of school on October 5th are encouraged to participate .

  5. Prizes • By running or walking around the track you will earn the following lap prizes: 5 laps = can of soda 10 laps = candy grab bag 15 laps = gold and maroon spirit beads 20 laps = VIP table with a catered lunch

  6. More Prizes… • Top 7th and 8th grade money collectors will be given a Mattson hoody sweatshirt and sweatpants. • Top 7th and 8th grade participating 1st period/Stang Time classes will earn an ice cream party.

  7. Pledge Sheets • Your teacher will give each of you a pledge sheet. • All students will return their pledge sheets, regardless of whether any pledges are collected or not. • Students who turn in pledge sheets on or before September 30th will receive a free treat. • Pledge sheets are due on or before October 5th at 8:30 A.M. to the Cashier.
