Introduction of our Association • The Association was founded on the 20th of December 1993 by 20 founder members and 9 supporting members, the number of its members has been growing to 134. • The majority of the founder members are teachers and women, mostly women take part in the organisation of programs. • The aims of the Association are to help the organization of the local community and to be the forum of forming skills needed by individual and communal social initiatives and the civic knowledge essential to form the local government. • The Association has 3 associated workshops: the Dramapedagogic, the Handicraft Workshop and the Duflex Photographic Studio
Introduction of our Association We realised programs in various fields in the past 13 years, for example: • Professional programs: • Rural development and LEADER conferences (our Association is a LEADER+ leading organisation) • Public education conferences • Cultural events, tradition-preservation: • Concerts • Photo exhibitions • Handicraft activities (for Advent & Easter, weaving, etc.) • Vocational trainings: • Trainings for farmers (4 courses) • Courses for people working in NGO’s and public administration • Courses for women (e-NIVO project, business development) Our activities in the past few years are shifted towards vocational trainings (however, absolutely clear distinction cannot be made)
Training for women • Courses, projects: • e-NIVO: supporting women entrepreneurs with customised consultations (in special consideration of using IT-based services) • Business development: trainings for women entrepreneurs and NGO’s in order to expand the business knowledge and improve the competitiveness • Partners: • Association of Hungarian Internet-user Women (MINŐK,http://www.minok.hu) • Foundation for Small Enterprise Economic Development (SEED Foundation,http://www.seed.hu)
