LEIS Moodle Lesson • Currently in development • Will cover: • Provide guidance on gathering LEIS data • What data are collected and their definitions • How data are collected • When data are collected • Will include guidance, instructions, questions throughout, and an assessment at the end • Will not discuss how to enter data into specific data systems, but more of the policy related to the LEIS form
WIOA Addendum Page 4 • New Data Elements • Joint elements that are common across agencies that describe characteristics, activities or outcomes of WIOA participants • New Services • Integrated Education and Training (IET) • Integrated English Literacy and Civics Education (IELCE) These must be collected for all students, starting 2016-2017. For students already in program, collect, if possible.
LEIS Form Addendum • Collect for all students going forward • Some will be used as identifying students that have barriers to employment • Should be collected each program year at this time – if it goes to each POP guidance will be given • Some barriers to employment we were already collecting, and should continue to be collected – i.e. disability
NRS Table 4 Includes EFL Gain, AHS, and postsecondary POP
NRS Table 4B and 4C • Looks the same as Table 4 • Table 4B: Includes students who are pre- and post-tested • Table 4C: Includes distance education students (51% or more of their total attendance hours are distance learning)
Table 5a and 10 • Look like Table 5 • Table 5a is distance education • Table 10 is correctional education, but adds a row for measurable skill gains
