How to Avoid Plagiarism • Cite your sources – give reference to or credit to the author • Enclose direct quotes with “quotation marks” and cite your source • Paraphrase and cite your source • Include a bibliography
Common knowledge • Common Knowledge – facts that are known by most people – no need to cite • Can you think of any examples?
