Abstract Modern Art Project • Using oil pastels, draw the following on tag board (6”x9”) – press firmly • One triangle • A zig-zag line • 3-5 wavy lines in a row • 3-5 straight lines in a row/column • 2 circles or other shapes • Add some dots and dashes Cover entire paper with cut up tissue paper – paint tissue paper with water as you go Tissue paper will attach to your paper and bleed color onto it Let wet tissue paper sit for 5 minutes Remove tissue paper and mount artwork on colored paper Make sure to add a title and name to your artwork!
