1. Jai 7 SSC 12 Sep 1988 – 12 Sep 2013 (25th Anniversary of commission - Silver Jubilee)

2. First day at Secunderabad on 12 Sep ‘88 • All boarded in Shaktiman – cutting jokes .. abusing .. front seat – some S/L. After entering the AFA gate – he said – you f..rs get down and run .. upto the mess .. probably we never ran such distance in the college … sudden jhatka .. Oops

3. 1st day meeting in the corridor • by S/L Parashar (?) – before dope cutting - calling the names – some one said – Yaa .. What bloody yaa .. say yes sir ..

4. Dope cutting • - just chatting in the corridor – suddenly called in a room and did dope cutting – when came back ? No one recognizing – who is this joker?

5. Whites • – no rings to the pant – after 15 days of rigorous f…g, pants became loose and slipping

6. Mustache • – No mustache – 0.5 (?)

7. Ante room • – 2 hours standing – listen the bhashan – legs paining initially – smiling outside – cursing inside

8. Mela … dance .. • Hot beer venture .... won in fishing at Mela. • Bajpai (?) caught sleeping on footpath in health run • First " tapping dance"

9. Dining room – table manners • -- table manners – no ishara -- ishhh … so called seniors teaching us how to use spoon, fork & knife – no keeping hands on the table – keeping roti in side plate and curry in the main plate (?) .. taking bread and porridge (?) - no other food till lunch – hogging on the lunch – arguing with mess manager ..

10. Infront of Dining room • – One day S/ L Flower Singh (?) stopped us at entrance and asked all of us – why did you join AF? Vasupalli, Goel and some other said with pride – To serve the nation, to serve our mother land … blab . blab ... He said, bull shit – we all joined for our belly -- Kiss the ground and enter the dining room.

11. Bath room • – one mirror sharing by 4-5 people for brushing & shaving .. I had taken good photo of it .. have to search at my native place ..

12. Unni guard • – following Sharma guard – my God .. all remember forever .. whole parade including the trainer (Sgt) were laughed to the glory –

13. Holding the rifle • – it weighs about 8 pounds – have to hold it straight and perpendicular to the ground – paseenanikalgayasurusurumein.

14. Parade dress & shaving • – S/L BasuMatari – terror - checked ever one’s dress fit, shoe polishing- brasso – whitening the belt – clean beard – found only 3 are fit – that includes Vaidya. Others to crawl the whole ground with riffle .. Scratches on elbow .. Knees ..

15. AVM E L Allen • – S/L Flower singh – Natasha – dancing … they say studying compuuuuuuuuuuters .. what in computers ? No idea … Cheri Cheri Lady …

16. Bahenji • Pilot officer Rawat – bahenji –

17. Privilege for watching TV • – No news paper, no TV – we are completely cut off from the rest of the world – no one knowing what is happening out side – infact we forgot the day also – whether its Monday or Sunday also – after two months only given it seems.

18. Collective punishment • – we had barakhana – there 3 of our guys won beer bottles – they opened on the road itself and had it .. some so called senior saw it and complained to our so called higher ups – whole day ragada – lot of bhashans – ban..on, mad….on, no olq, blab blab …. Whole day the same – ears were swollen – rigorous ragada – rolling in the grass – after dinner – again ragada --- 11 pm, 0000 hrs, 0100, 0200 hr reporting to some f….in room every one hour in specific dress like pt kits - whites – uniform – night dress– then final sleep and to get up at normal 430 …. This is real Collective punishment – infact these are the ones brought us to feel togetherness.

19. Late comers - Trio • – whenever you see three running around the parade ground with rifle over the head … means they are late – they are – Pant, P J Mohan & Sharma .. Trio became famous for it

20. Coming from class • - going with brief case – one day while coming back .. We are supposed to maintain some line or some thing .. Coming in jig zag .. From behind .. One S/L Sardar ? Came silently on scooter in neutral .. No sound and caught us on the way.. Ragada ..

21. Class room • – teaching communications – W/c – gives examples for antenna – dandagusado --- • While explaining two types of radar (front feed and rear feed)---he asked HKJS Nijjahr what is difference between two---Nijjhar could not answer so that wgcdr said ---if you f##ck from front its front feed if from rear its rear feed!!! We all were shocked. • In last days at AFA, two honrary commissioned officer used to come and deliver us lectures in Mess----we liked that---we used to call them Pinto and Minto---Ones name was Flt Lt Pinto

22. Visit to HAL • – taken civil dress with us … after the visit, changed the uniform to civil dress … went to city ..

23. Visit to city • Dope cutting – grey pants with white shirt – stripes tie -- went to movie – 10 commandments, QSQT – Qayamat Se QayamatTak .. … max from AFA only.

24. Iqbalsingh • – remember this? Infact – Ek Ball singh – lion statue having single ball ---some one spotted it … 

25. Sunil Mathai Thomas fighting • – had fight with 83 GDOC in dining room – no singing .. But he said I am humming .. No you are singing .. hit each other – bleeding …

26. Sunil Mathew Thomas’smarching • – after a while left become right and versa – flight before him – left hand up , flight behind him – right hand up …. Those who see from outside --- clearly see out of sync .. typical walking ..

27. Dusnumbari • – 10 no. shoe – not remembered the name..pl. furnish --- saalakoibhi shop me milthanahin.

28. Who is who • – one evening some one asking all of us – from which place we are … I was in middle or back .. along with Krishna Kumar. All were telling – I am Delhi .. I am Lucknow .. KK said from back .. I am from Jafna. (Those days fight was going on in Srilanka against LTTE. Jafna is a place in Srilanka where fight was going on ). Since it is about to sunset .. could not recognize who said ..That 83 GDOC became serious .. who said Jafna ..who said … come out … I could not control laugh … he asked me.. why are you laughing ……punishment – running in the corridor …

29. Inter course Foot ball match • – Playing foot ball with 83 GDOC course – inter course match ..  match became fighting --ground ..

30. IdiAmin • – Remember him? S Immanuel .. He is from Karnataka – when some one asked him from where -- others say, he is from Uganda – IdiAmin, … he is from Tangenia… because he looks like from Africa

31. Future decided • – All assembled in Anteroom – chatting... one S/L (?) came and asked – count nos ..1,2.. 70. 1 to 6 – ADHS, 7 to 20 - Radars, 21 to 40 – Tropo, Rest missiles .. 1 to 6 toppers?? This decided our future life also.
