  2. Who we are now… Throughout the years, HHPO evolved to an organization that acts as a stepping stone for students interested in health careers. HHPO is the largest organization in the College of Natural Science!

  3. Our Mission Our purpose is to provide pre-health profession students with academic resources, opportunities in clinical settings and peer support. Furthermore, HHPO strives to promote cultural fellowship, as well as impact Hispanic health through service and education in underrepresented communities.

Volunteer Opportunities • Volunteers needed for this Wednesday and Thursday to assist withgroups of 3rd and 4th grader tours around campus from 1:20-5pm, if anyoneis interested please see me after the meeting. • We will begin volunteering at Any Baby Can which is a Learning Center that provides tutoring for children and assists adults in learning English, on Saturdays from 11am to 1pm.   23. IM Sports • It’s fútbol time! • We will be playing 7 vs. 7 soccer on Wednesdays at 6pm at Whitaker field (IM fields) • First game….. TOMORROW! September 25th at 6 pm • Meet at the bus stop at 4:30pm; The stop at Dean Keeton between Speedway and San Jacinto Rd.   24. Study Groups • Your Secretary, Carlos, has impeccably made an organized system to make study groups based on class and teacher you are enrolled in. Make sure to make your account, pay dues, and sign up so we can study with each other. • This system is helpful and efficient because you’re studying with people who have the same homework and material as you! Take advantage of it!
