Main tasks of PAFS • to popularise the most recent achievements of forensic science • to promote advancements of forensic and related disciplines • to determine and monitor norms and standards of performing forensic examination • to perform specialist examination, forensic casework, to issue statements • to supervise and grant forensic expert or specialist licences • to undertake other activities directly related to crime prevention and fight against criminal phenomena
