  1. GEOG 298: Geography of Global Trade • KEYWORDS: • Global Trade • International Trade • Exports • Imports • Commodities • Metals • Minerals • Food • _________________ • Goods* • Services*

  2. GEOG 298: Geography of Global Trade What is traded? Where is it traded? Why? (What is its importance?) How much (quantity)? How valuable is it? (This can be considered at both the origin – where it is exported from – as well as at the destination – where it is being imported to…) Maps and graphs! …And other pictures… What does it look like? Where is it found? Where is it going? (Note… in some cases, there could be multiple “trips”!) Grading: Each presentation, except for the first one (freebie!), is worth 10 points, and your final presentation, which is worth 30 points. The first and second presentation will be 5 minutes. All the rest will be 10 minutes.  Note: You lose 1 point for every minute your presentation is short.  Points may also be deducted for not having a “one-pager” for each presentation, for typos on either your PowerPoint slides and/or your one-pager, and for presentation style (this will count more towards the end than at the beginning)…  2 points of the 10 are for turning in a complete packet of evaluations of your peer’s presentations.

  3. “Triangular Trade”
