Membership • Through March 2007, variance of $80,000 YTD caused by individual regular, and organizational. • Data cleanup post-CRM implementation. • Dues increase implementation: Member Savings Time. • New member orientation. 17,754
National Education Seminar (NES) Program • FAR 45 Government Property Management seminar planned for when the final rule is released, delayed until June. • Earned Value Management (EVM) seminar developed, plan to release next fiscal year. • Continue to see decline in chapter participation, 38 projected.
Audio-seminars Program • April 2007 will be one of largest months ever. • Titles? • Approaching size of NES program.
Book Sales • Three new books published late 2006: • Leadership: Building High Performance Buying and Selling Teams – the NES manual, • Guide to Basic Contract Terms – the 3rd edition, and • Annotated Guide to the Contract Management Body of Knowledge – the full text version of the CMBOK. • Through March 2007, positive variance of $24,000. • Best seller remains GBK study manual.
E-Learning • In discussions with V-Campus on possible new program development. • In process of planning for implementation of new learning management system (ResultsDirect Education Director). • Will be developing plan for new course creation in FY2008.
Certification • Certification and re-certification applications continue at 10% higher rates than last year. • Exam pass rates continue to improve. • Kryterion implementation May 2007. • DAU and FAI course equivalencies.
Communications • NCMA won a design award for the Executive Contract Management Conference 2007 marketing pieces from American InHouse Design. • Advertising revenue collectively as of March 2007 is positive variance $81,000 YTD. • CM magazine ads behind $29,000 YTD.
Meetings • The Government Contract Management Conference exceeded revenue budgets ($325,338 vs. $264,350). • Executive Conference was cancelled due to low registration. • World Congress 2007 will be within $40,000 of revenue budget. • Higher exhibit and sponsor revenue ~$50,000 • Lower registration revenue ~$90,000
