Commercial value of 360 Quality Specialised reefer vessels travel directly and on schedule from load to discharge ports. Transhipment is not required. Fast means shorter transit times -> longer shelf life for the retailer -> longer sales time and less costs for wasted fruit. FAST Using our knowledge of perishable transports, we have developed and implemented the 360 Quality requirements for vessels and terminals. We check the Quality of the cargo throughout the supply chain. We align supply chain partners and intervene when necessary. Dedicated means that we transport and deliver cargo in the best possible condition to the satisfaction of our customers. DEDICATED We are in direct contact with all partners in the supply chain. Adding value Fast is also transport Fruit-port-to-Fruit-port avoiding congested terminals and maintaining schedule integrity. “We are arriving nearly 2 weeks ahead of the containers.” Being dedicated is another major advantage. “Reefer ships are the best option available at keeping fruit at a consistent temperature”. Specialised reefer facts • Each cooling section in a specialised reefer vessel has a separate ventilation and fresh air control system • Temperatures are monitored in real time and can be controlled directly • Specialised reefer vessels provide optimal air distribution, so that cargo is quickly and evenly cooled down • The reefer plant and the conditions in the hold are checked frequently ensuring immediate and professional response to any unwanted variations or malfunction of equipment.
