  5. Discussion Questions • The general question is the beginning of our discussion. Every week I will give you practice problems that we can review and discuss together. Type the problem as if you tutor someone! • Ask questions, answer questions, give us links, and tips and examples. • Give complete explanation, be there during the week, you are graded based on your participation and not upon the correctness of your answer.

Discussion Questions Post 1 main answer but then you need to participate in the discussion with meaningful, complete and quality answers ! at least 3 posts per week, ideas: • Explain examples • Links you find helpful • Answers to other students • Answers to follow up questions I ask • Questions along with further participation to the dialogue • Hints that have helped you in the past or now.

  7. MyMathLab (MML) Technical • 1. Try to use basically Internet Explorer • 2. Add the Mathxl.com in your trusted sites • 3. Check your Firewalls • 4. Check the security level • Rush hours: Tuesday after 4:00PM ( avoid those) • For other maintenance hours check the website and our announcements.

  8. MyMathLab (MML) Technical • If you get the Customer Service code url3 error, contact the tech support and they will help you with what is possible the problem you have to open the MML, the problem has to do with your set up of your PC and not the MML.

  9. MML Graded Practice • 1. It has around 20 - 30 problems Multiple Choice • 2. You can open and complete a problem, save it and reopen it later. • 3. You can open your MML graded practice as many times as you need but during the GIVEN week. You can get a perfect score for every week’s assignment. • 4. Make sure you use the table on the left panel, it is important since the MML cannot decipher symbols from the Keyboard. • 5. Resources in MML: • Similar Problem • View and Example • Video

  10. Symbol Box in Excel This is the left panel symbol box, You can use it to enter fractions, absolute values, powers, functions, Radicals and so on! ALWAYS USE THIS! Extra symbols if you click on More button

  13. Help me Solve this Read the step by step information that is given to you on the specific homework problem, interact with the system and answer the questions it asks you. Once this is complete, solve the similar problem that is given to you this time.

  14. Where you can review the Concept directly from the Book and review the Examples that the book provides
