  2. The ABC’s of Accessories Artwork should relate to your surroundings, hang at eye level, 6” – 9” above furniture

  3. Artwork frame artwork to coordinate with room décor, frames should compliment style, mat colors enhance art and color scheme

  4. Artwork place mirrors so they reflect something beautiful add dimension, expand space, or reflect light

  5. Artwork cover two thirds of the space above furniture with art, display art on easels to create interest in corners, bookcases, & tabletops

  6. Balance use accessories to balance your color scheme

  7. Balance use symmetrical arrangements for formal décor,

  8. Balance use asymmetrical arrangements for informal décor,

  9. Balance repeat a color at least three times

  10. Balance for more interest… vary height of accessories, vary size of accessories

  11. Create choose accessories that you LOVE,

  12. Create use accessories to enhance, strengthen, or design focal point, use existing accessories in new ways
