  3. Diera Coastal Area, Dubai CBD, United Arab Emirate/Existing Situation 2003-2005 Deira coastal area is approximately 3.00 km long and up to 300m wide. It contains Hyatt Regency Hotel (up to 30 storeys height), and a temporary Fish Market. Design & Planning Principal: Roxy Binno

Option 1 provides a Public Park with limited residential uses (21 apartment blocks); and contains a shopping centre with aquarium, pedestrian promenades with cafes and restaurants, and marina.   5. Diera Coastal Area, Dubai CBD, United Arab Emirate/Conceptual Urban Design Masterplan/ Idea- Option 2 Site Area: approximately 75 ha. Option 2 provides a Public Park that contain an Atrium (for exhibition of exotic plants and fish), cafes and restaurants, marina and marina club, Sport Centre, commercial office towers with other relevant facilities.   6. Diera Coastal Area, Dubai CBD, United Arab Emirate/Fish Market Precinct- Conceptual Urban Design Masterplan/ Idea Site Area: approximately 30 ha. The proposed Urban development is super imposed over the existing road network in order to promote pedestrian environment linking the waterfront with the existing old urban fabric and Gold Souq Area. The proposal contains large shopping centre, office towers over Metro Station, fish market, multi-media centre, local library, public plaza, and a pedestrian bridge across Dubai Creek.   7. Dubai Creek, Dubai CBD, United Arab Emirate/Existing Situation -2005 The redevelopment area is 2.00 km long and up to 100m deep along Beniyas Road between Al Ras and Al Maktoum Bridge. It is dominated by open parking areas and ships (Dhows) wharf. Loading areas and traffic along Beniyas Road constitute a major problem for pedestrian. Design & Planning Principal: Roxy Binno
