Nickname • Scarface • While working at Harvard Inn he was attacked by the brother of a patron whom Capone insulted
Crimes • Frist arrest • Disorderly conduct while working for Frankie Yale, a ganagster • Murdered two people in New York but was never tried because no one would say they heard anything due to gangland ettiquette • After hospitalizing a rival gang was sent to Chicago to work for Yale’s old mentor • Controlled speakesies, bookie joints, gambling houses, borthels, horse and race tracks, night clubs, and breweries. • Reported income of $100,000,000 • Chicago Mayor hired new police chief to run Capone out of town

Death • Died on January 25th, 1947
Social conflict • I believe Al Capone is a result of the Social Conflict theory. He grew up having a nice child hood and didn’t have any problems with his family. I chose social conflict because he had a great need for power. He always had power whether it was with gangs or even when he was in jail. While he was in jail he became in supreme power which made him have to change prions. He controlled people so he didn’t have to be around while the killing was happening and he always had an alibi.
