What we do • Hold regular meetings to discuss issues raised by young people • Represent the voice of young people at local, regional and national level • Continue to work on our Manifesto • Shadow Cabinet members • Hold events • Campaign on our issues • Improve services and activities for young people

  3. Our Top issues voted by 3000 Sandwell Young People are: Safety Thing For Young People To Do Substance Misuse Transport Young People’s Rights

Changemakers A charitable Organisation working with West Midlands Police, in collaboration with different youth provisions: Sandwell Shadow Youth Cabinet Aim: Create a platform within existing Sandwell youth provisions where young people and the police have opportunities to discuss and share ideas by encouraging inter-generational work! Plan- create groups in existing youth clubs for young people to build relationships and benefit from training and leadership opportunities with their local police reps and attend local neighbourhood forums.

  5. Perception of Police to YP Funding received from WM Police Authority SSYC decided to make a video to capture the thoughts/ views of YP Riots- recent factor which will affect the YP views- research carried out by SSYC which fed into national research

  6. Our response to the riots Question Time style event held at THE PUBLIC, West Bromwich. Panel members included- Councillors/ Service Directors and YP 60 YP
