  2. Program Description This session explores concepts of social entrepreneurship as a means to empowering individuals to realize their potential to make meaningful contributions to society. We will discuss how personal experiences, passions and strengths can be used as guides to success, well-being and lasting fulfillment.

Pay it forward: Pioneering Social Change (activity) Instructions On a sheet of paper – List one for each of the following: 1) strength or talent, 2) passion, 3) skill, 4) privilege and 5) material resource. Write down one issue, concern or problem that affects you directly or indirectly. In the group – Discuss your list with those in your group. Select one problem from those listed by your group members. Utilize all your tools to develop a plan, product or organization (and roles) to address the problem.

Entrepreneur – agent, innovator, initiator, artist Intrepreneur – entrepreneur who works within the context of an established organization Social Entrepreneurship – movement beyond the status quo; movement to create solutions to social problems, issues and concerns; developing sustainable improvements to the human condition.
