  6. What is CYPADM? • SCYPPEx group developed a resuscitation policy for Children and Young People • Title: Children and Young People Acute Deterioration Management (CYPADM) • Supports the effective and high quality management of acute deterioration in children and young people

Considers the 7Cs- Communication Control of symptoms Continuity of Care Continued learning Carersupport Care of the dying pathway • ADA (After Death Analysis) • Living and Dying Well (LDW) • LDW Building on Progress • The ACT Care Pathway ( now TfSL) • What we will do for the child

  9. Why implement CYPADM? To support the effective and high quality management of acute deterioration in children and young people and to ensure that the management of acute deterioration and end of life care for CYP in Scotland is of high quality and is continuously improving. CYPADM and end of life care will be: • child and young person centred, taking account of the family • safe • effective • efficient • equitable • timely
