How Does Light & Color Appear? Color appear when white light shines on many objects, the result is an array of colors. These colors are Red, Orange Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet. These colors are also known as ROY G. BIV.
How Does This Rose Look Red When you look at a rose it appears red because the rose absorbs all colors and reflects red. Our eyes receive the red light as the rose being naturally red.
How the Colors Are Transferred? Colors are transferred by light that moves in wavelengths towards the object. If there was no light then there would be no way to transfer the beam to create a color.
Color Filters Color Filters allow colors to pass through, but only certain types. The filter absorbs all of the colors, but only allows one color to shine through because it depends on what type of filter like blue, red, orange, yellow, and green. Lets say a yellow butterfly shined through a blue filter, the butterfly would be blue.
