Release after release, Exstream brings many new and exciting mainstream features, while ensuring backward compatibility of Exstream applications developed through older releases. You might be wondering if it's hard to upgrade to the latest major release - version 16 - and that's not the case. Just a few steps and that's it! Information about upgrading to OpenText Exstream can be found in the OpenText User Guide in the Knowledge Center. It will help you better assess what needs to be done during the upgrade. There are several ways to simplify the upgrade process. But don't try to use the entire dataset from a production run, as it can be too cumbersome and time-consuming to manage. As mentioned above, we recommend using test data capture to reduce the number of records in the test data file. We recommend at least requesting an upgrade assessment health check and consulting service to ensure that your OpenText™ environment is ready for an upgrade and that you have someone to turn to for helpful advice and guidance.
