Unit 1 Review and Test Preparation • There will be three components to the test: (13 10 24) • Descriptions of key terms and concepts (definition – K, example – A, significance – T); • Short answer responses addressing the major themes and learning goals from each module (sentences or point form – A & T); • Long answer response to a site passage consolidating the major learning from the unit (paragraph(s) – A & T).

Unit 1 Review and Test Preparation • The major themes and learning goals are: • I can make good choices based on my faith in order to serve God and the community. • I can articulate Catholic anthropology and it impacts our response to suffering. • I can describe and apply the concepts of justice and injustice using a Catholic worldview. • I can describe how prophets (old & new) call us to faithful Christian lives. • I can demonstrate how we live in a web of relationships which affect one another.
Unit 1 Review and Test Preparation • We looked at several pieces of text and video: • WCDSB Mission: “transforming God’s world.” • Scripture: “Decalogue, Beatitudes, Golden Rule.” • Encyclical: “Caritas in Veritate.” • Scripture: “Call of the Prophets.” • News: various examples and case studies.
