  2. FileZilla Configuration 1 User name as upgrade Enter distant end Modems IP address No password Navigate to the directory where the unzipped software is located

  3. Ensure Transfer type is set to BINARY FileZilla Configuration 2 Select Edit / settings and configure as per next two slides

  4. FileZilla Configuration 3 Set to 99 Set to 999

  5. FileZilla Configuration 4 Select Transfers Disable timeout Set to 1

  6. FileZilla Configuration 5 Click to connect to distant end Modem Navigate to the local software directory And select P3000-1.9.54b folder Automatically opens target directory

  7. FileZilla Configuration 6 Two files to be transferred: cf.img.gz and uImage. Select file to upload; two files one at a time! File ready to be uploaded Right click here and select process queue Once the first file is complete, transfer the second.

  8. FileZilla Configuration 7 When both files have been transferred select View / Refresh and make sure transferred data is same size as original. If not the transfer will have to be repeated.
