  2. Great Pyramid Of Giza • This is largest of the three pyramids. It is the oldest member of the seven ancient wonders of the world. It is believed to be built for the king Khufu. This wonder took 14 to 20 years to build. This was the tallest man made structure for 3,800 years. The pyramid stands at 480.6 Ft tall.

  3. Temple Of Luxor The Egyptian temple is located on the east banks of the Nile River. This was created 1400 BCE. The earlier parts of the temple are still standing. The temple was dedicated to Theban and Triad of Amun

  4. Aswan Dam • The low dam was completed in 1902. It was Later turned into a high dam and was constructed during 1960 through 1970. Before the dam was built the Nile river flooded every year destroying crops and other agriculture. It was built to prevent this and now creates hydroelectricty.

  5. The Temples of Abu Simbel • Abu Simbel Temples refers to two large rock temples. They were originally carved out of a mountain. These temples were created during the 13th century BC. Pharaoh Ramesses II ordered the making of these temples. They are a lasting monument to himself and his queen Nefetari to commemorate his alleged victory During the Battle of Kadesh.

  6. The Valley of the Kings • Tombs were Constructed here for the Pharaoh’s and High nobles. The valley stands on the west side bank of the Nile river. In 2008 two more entrances were found into the Tombs. The area has had 63 tombs found within it.
