  1. The Big Dinner So, over the holidays, I had to cook a huge dinner for my extended family. I had about 15 family members over my house, but I had some difficulty with the dinner. I did not buy a big enough turkey! I did not have enough food to feed everyone! Has that ever happened at your house? Well, I decided that I did not want that to happen again. So I told all of them that I would re-do our dinner and cook everyone a new turkey dinner that had enough food for everyone. They then asked me how I would do that. I said, "I have no idea, but my 3rd graders are smart so maybe they could help me figure out how much turkey to cook." Do you all think you could do that?

  2. $1.25/pound So as promised, here is my turkey and this time I am going to buy the biggest turkey there is in the store. But I need to know how much money to bring in to Big Y. They do not accept my credit card or debit card anymore. They told me I could only bring in cash and sadly the cashiers do not know how to make change. So I have to have the correct amount. Can you guys help me figure out how much money to bring in?
