  3. Lesson 5.1 ¢ coins = metal money (penny, nickel, dime, quarter, half-dollar, dollar) cents = how much the coins add up to (a “C” with a line) dime = coin worth 10 cents (10¢) nickel = coin worth 5 cents (5¢) penny = coin worth 1 cent (1¢)
