  1. AIR QUALITY TESTING CAN IMPROVE YOUR HEALTH If you seem to have seasonal illnesses like cold, flu or seasonal allergies, you should consider having the indoor air quality testing of your home and office tested for indoor environmental issues

  2. Air Quality Testing Air quality is an often overlooked aspect of home safety, but it is still very important. Harmful chemicals and toxic agents can spread throughout the air in your home and begin to impact your health over time. There are quite a few at-home kits and tests you can purchase at most home improvement stores. But it's always a good idea to hire a professional to help you check your home for good air quality.

  3. common indoor air quality pollutants. Comfort - Temperature and relative humidity - improves sleep Particle Matter - airborne dust can affect sinuses as well as the respiratory system. Chemicals - VOC’s can be carcinogenic and can cause a variety of allergic reactions as well as diseases. Formaldehyde - this can be emitted by building materials, decorating materials and contents. Carbon Dioxide (CO2) - this is an indicator of poor ventilation. It can also cause sleep issues, lethargy. Carbon Monoxide (CO) - this is a deadly gas from incomplete combustion Moisture issues - these can foster mould and bacterial growth indoors Mould - mould spores can cause anything from mild allergic reactions, to serious and long term health issues, disease and cancer.

  4. what we test for in a typical air quality test • Visual inspection for water damage and mould growth • Thermal imaging and moisture meter to determine areas of active moisture issues • Laboratory sampling for airborne mould spores. • We can also perform designated substance assessments for asbestos • Temperature and humidity levels in every room • CO and CO2 readings to determine proper ventilation • VOC and Formaldehyde readings in all areas • Airborne dust and particle readings with a laser particle monitor
