  4. AT YOUR SERVICE, LORD! WORSHIP SERVICE: Something You Attend or Do?

  5. MAKE A GLORIFYING RESPONSE OF SERVICE "Worship is the recognition of the innate value and worth of God as revealed in His Word. The instinctive attitudes of worship arise out of a right understanding of who God is and what He has done. The instinctive response of worship is service.”--Michael C. Wagner

  6. Worship Service "Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, `Whom shall I send, and who shall go for Us?' Then I said, "Here am I. Send me!'” (Isaiah 8:6)

  7. Serve God with your Time "I urge you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship" (Romans 12:1 NASV).

Serve God with your Time Romans 12:4 Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, 5 so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. 6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith.

  9. Serve God with your Time Romans 12:8 if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully. 9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. 11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.

  10. Gifts “are a fragrant offering, and acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God” (Phil 4:18). Serve God with your Treasure

  11. The wise men gave gifts in worship “On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, and of incense and of myrrh.” Matthew 2:11 Follow their example!

SERVE HIM WITH YOUR TREASURE 2 Cor.9:6-15. 6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work...

  13. Don’t just serve God with your TIME and TREASURE… also Serve Him with yourTESTIMONY!

  14. Why did Paul engage in aggressive evangelism? "so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God" (II Corinthians 4:15).
