  1. Introduction Future of IT: Renewable Solutions

  2. Solar Technology The use of Solar technology could provide a greener future in which all power usage could be generated via solar cells. This would mean sustainable energy and cheaper power costs as other than the main connection and installation costs the power is completely free.

  3. Fuel Cells Through the use of electrolysis hydrogen can be separated from water and then when placed in the same container as oxygen a violent reaction occurs which is used to generate power. The result leaves no toxic chemicals as only pure water remains. This could be used to power technology cheaply and efficiently and the water could be used repeatedly to create an energy efficient power source.

  4. Micro Turbines As micro turbines use air intake instead of steam as the main source of pressure turning the turbines they are extremely eco-friendly and can be run quite cheaply. The turbines are mainly used to turn magnets generating electrical energy which is then used in IT to power the equipment.

  5. Conclusion All of these energy efficient and eco-friendly power sources will one day replace the oil and petrol hungry electric power industries of today.
