  6. Visitors, to First Church! Following worship, please join us in The Patch (West Lot) for a Summer Familyfest of Food, Fun and Games.

  7. A Deacon’s Fund offering will be collected TODAY. Please use the envelope provided in your bulletin.

  8. Monday, August 5th, 9:00am – Noon Friday, August 9th , 9:00am – Noon

  9. Annual School Supply Drive Please see the list in your bulletin, then return your school supplies – for students at Hollywood Central Elementary — On Sunday, August 25th.

  10. A new Group for Seniors will have their first meeting September 16thfrom 1 – 3 pm in the chapel. All seniors are invited and welcome to bring friends. See Louise Hardenburg or Penny Johns for information.

  44. AUGUST 4TH – THE FREEDOM OF HOPE GALATIANS 5: 1-6

  46. For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm, therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery. Listen! I, Paul, am telling you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no benefit to you.

  47. Once again I testify to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obliged to obey the entire law. You who want to be justified by the law have cut yourselves off from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.

  48. For through the Spirit, by faith, we eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness.

  49. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything; the only thing that counts is faith working through love.
