  3. Some information about the bridge • It was inaugurated on 4th July 2003. • It connects TransDanubia with the Great Plain. • It is the first bridge since 1934 that was not built in Budapest. • At that time was the longest bridge in our country.

  4. Some interestingfacts • Height: 9,5 m • Length: 919,6 m • Navigable width: 100 m • The name of the bridge comes from the patron saint of Szekszárd: Saint László

  5. Inauguration • The bridge had two opening ceremonies because of the political situation. The construction of the bridge was started at time of the Orbán cabinet (Conservative) and finished at the time of Medgyessy (Socialist) cabinet. • The Prime Minister (Péter Medgyessy) inaugurated the bridge.

  9. Gemenc forest • Here you can see lots of special animals. • The forest has a symbol called Rezét, which is a mini train and this goes around in the forest.
