  3. What’s new and forthcoming in diagnostic procedures? • a – New applications of PET, MRI and CT scan. • b – What’s new in pathology markers, with clinical implications? • c – Methods of diagnosis in new infectious diseases. • d – Open to suggestions.

  4. Emerging Diseases and new concepts of old ones. • a - Old and new tropical diseases (malaria, dengue, yellow fever, schistosoma, Ebola, West of Nile, etc.). Are them related? • b – New and expanding causes of anaemias. • c – The new target of LDL. Based on facts or fantasy? • d – Open to suggestions.

What’s new and forthcoming in therapeutics? • a – New antibiotics and their indications. • b – Advances in the treatment of AIDS. • c – New strategies in the management of Cardiac Failure (Chris Davidson) • d – Biotherapy –Present and future indications. • e - New anti-thrombotic drugs – Better than old ones? • f - Stem-cells: present and future applications. • e – Open to suggestions.
