  2. Carlsbad Caverns Carlsbad Caverns is a United States National Park located in the Guadalupe Mountains in Southeastern New Mexico. The primary attraction of the park is the show cave, Carlsbad Caverns. It was first designated a national monument on October 25, 1923, then a National park on may 14, 1930 then, a world heritage site on December 6, 1995.
