Attendance Counseling Sessions 10 weeks:Daily individual counseling sessions with the students - Goal Setting -Review of daily progress reports - Attendance performance contract
Results • 66% of 10th and 11th grade students in our sample improved their attendance from October to January. • On Average, 10th and 11th grade attendance went up 11% from October to January.
Results • 75% of 12th grade students in our sample improved their attendance from October to January. • On Average, 12th grade attendance went up 2% from October to January.
Results • Among the seven targeted GED students, 66% showed improvement in their attendance from October to January. • However, the overall percentage among GED students decreased by one percent.

Implications • Attendance improved on average among targeted population • It was more successful among diploma students than GED students • Next year we may need to start interventions earlier • Look into the impact the intervention has on class completion
